| To download software and drivers for your HP product: |

Click on the “Software and Driver downloads” link on the navigation bar on the left side of the screen. |

Under the “Get support for your product” section, select the “Software & Driver downloads” task. |

Type in your HP product number in the “Enter a product number” text input box. |
|

For example, if you wanted to solve a problem regarding the HP Pavilion Desktop PC a305w, you could enter “HP Pavilion Desktop PC a305w” or “Pavilion a305w.” |

| If you entered partial product information, use the product finder results to select your HP product. |

| Once you are on the “Software & Driver downloads” page for your specific product, you will be asked to select an operating system. Select the appropriate operating system that corresponds to your HP product. For some products, like printers, HP offers a diagnostic tool that will automatically check to see if you need an update for your software/driver. Select the "click here to have HP automatically check to see if you need a driver update" link (if it appears on your product number’s Software & Driver downloads support page) and follow the instructions on the screen. |

| Note: If your operating system is not listed, then no software or driver downloads are available at this time. |

| Now you can select from a list of categories with software and/or drivers that are available for download. Find the appropriate category and select the software and/or driver that you wish to download. You can also order your software/driver on a CD on this page. |

| Follow the directions for downloading the selected software and/or driver. |

| If you wish HP to notify you when a new software/driver update is available for your product, click on the notify button to get a free subscription to this feature. |
